SNOW!!

Yesterday I took a picture outside my office window to show the first few flakes of our snow coming down and the results were so hard to see that I circled the flakes on the pic. But the snow got thicker and thicker and today everything is white. Mom has a really cool slide show of the snow up at the lake... you should see it at http://sharingalaska.blogspot.com

I'm always a little sad to think about snow coming and signalling the end of Fall but it's so pretty that the sadness doesn't last long. Especially when the flakes are so big and come down so slowly like they are dancing to a song.

I recently finished a baby blanket that I made for Tammy Shaw's baby, Winter. (Thus the snowflakes.) It always feels so good to see a project like that completely finished. I'm just finishing up another one for Karla's new one that is on the way.

The blanket is so soft and beautiful, it can't be fully appreciated from a photograph.

Funny about circling the snowflakes. :-)

Okay hidden secret talent girl...I didn't know you knitted or crochetted (sp?)!! What a great blanket! Tammy and Winter will love it! We should have a movie knit in night sometime. :)
