Highlights

Today is the first day of Spring!! It's overcast today and the temperatures have warmed up. Although it has been frigid lately, we still got out and enjoyed the lake and other activities. Mom took this picture while we were watching one of Alexis' basketball games. Alexis B-ball season is over now, but it was fun to be back at the school watching games again. They were pretty entertaining games. Sometimes it almost looked like "Calvinball" where there were really no rules, or they changed every quarter.

I went outside one morning to take pictures of the sunrise and I spooked a moose that was sleeping on the other side of my car. He jumped up and I got a couple pictures of it before he started moseying down the drive. As soon as the moose turned, Chevy began to chase him. I snapped this picture. Right after this shot, the moose abruptly changed direction, head lowered to the ground and began to chase Chevy. I've never seen Chevy pivot so fast. Wild America in my front yard.

Karla and Chris sometimes lets the boys use their little digital camera to take pictures. They are getting better at aiming the camera. Tucker (the one in the middle) took this one. Tucker suggested that I use the dinosaur for a prop, hence, the set of teeth on the far left of the photo.

One cold morning, the moon was just setting. I love the cabin!

The boys put some jumps into the ice track on the lake. They are all getting excited for motocross to start. I guess it starts sometime next month. Klint is going over the jump in this picture, Kris and Tony are right behind him. The ice races were definitely one of the family highlights this winter. That track has seen a lot of activity. Good times.
