November

I was planning on posting a blog about my Thanksgiving here, but realized that I don't have the cord necessary for pulling my pictures off my camera. So instead I'll use a few other pictures that I had from earlier this month. This month I bought a digital camera!! I don't know why it took me so long. It has been working fantastic! I am very very pleased with it.

The changing of the colors have been intense and subtle. I will go out and think to myself.. yup.. just a couple more days and all this will be gone. But then a week later the colors are still there and deeper and more trees have more color. I'm just so impressed with how much the trees change before the leaves finally fall off. The big pecan trees in Matthew's front yard have finally started looking bare. A few trees have no leaves left at all, but every once in a while I still drive by a patch of trees with crazy color that leaves me gasping and I find I have to force myself to focus on the road so I don't drive off it.
Don't worry mom, I have been careful.
These were some pictures from the past few weeks. I will add another post soon to describe my Thanksgiving.

Wow, the colors are impressive.

I was gone all day yesterday and after Mom got here today I spent it with her. So finally, I am at blogland again and decided I am gonna see if you did anything yet. The new pictures are beautiful.

You are being missed at church, Loren and Yvonne mentioned you and said that they miss you and look forward to you being back home.

I have enjoyed the new Ten Mile Junction CD several times already. We bought one to send to our friends in Australia, they will love it too. Loren gave us five to give to you, they are with your mail. I love the inside sleeve of the CD, because of the cool picture of you there.

21 more days! :-)

have you made any pecan pies from Matt's trees? Ashley's grandparents always gather their pecans during Thanksgiving... I always loved Matt's pecan trees... and I love that picture of the field-- all browns and reds and greens. I loved seeing you in the new cd cover Sunday-- great pics and I can't wait to hear your song.
