Alaska According to Marie

Thank you God for snow! We have had so much snow up at the lake, I love it! This warmer weather we've had has dropped the level some, but then it snowed again last night and I think its gonna stick before it gets cold again this weekend. I think I heard that there will be some more ice racing going on out at the lake. Klint and Kris organized a party a couple weekends ago and it was so cold. I was sick and only ventured out to the lake a couple times for a few quick pictures and then scurried back into the warm cozy house.

A couple days ago there was a moose hanging out in the driveway. He only had one antler, which Dad was hoping would drop off right there where he could get to it easy, but nope, the moose held on to that thing. I think his lopsided head deemed him harmless to Mom's little dog Chewy, cause he just went right up to it barking warnings and threats... that little dog amazes me sometimes.
