The muddy season!!
Can't wait for Green to show up!!
A photojournal of my life here in Alaska. There is no other place like it!

I was born and raised here in southcentral Alaska. I've traveled to many places but still love it best here at home. I like to take pictures of the beautiful scenic wonders just steps out my front door.

Great pictures Marie. I got to see a few from Gunner's bd too. Thanks! It was a great fun picnic.
Marie,
Nice to hear you are able to get out and around again. I do believe you are ahead of us - melt wise. We still have a LOT of snow around. In fact, the road to the lodge is only open from the West (as of last Tuesday) not yet from the East.
I am able to hike again - a little - but mostly right around the lodge. I have seen moose, my feathered friends are returning, I saw my first elk today, and the otters have been playing games on the lake. However, their games are on the ice as the lake is still frozen (except for some small open spots).
Thanks for sharing the update. Take care!
