Halibut Cove

I was very happy to have the chance to go to Halibut Cove this summer!! Matthew and I had a great time there enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and the amazing view. We played with starfish, hiked all over, ate delicious raspberries, and enjoyed Zach and Jane's wonderful hospitality. The deck at the cabin was finished and the view of the cove from their perch is so fantastic. We got to play with the kids and I was happy that we got to spend some time with Nate Bair too. I loved my time there.

We were out beachcombing in the evening and it turned out to be wild america with Matthew's almost super human catch and release abilities. He caught a couple of eels, a little Irish Lord (and subsequently saved a little crab that was inside the fish's mouth at the time), a crab, butter clams... and I think he was really trying to figure out a way to entice the seal that was watching us while we were out there.

It was so much fun. Thanks alot Kellers!!

September....

September is a busy month for my family. Birthdays, Anniversaries, hunting season...

For my birthday, Matthew and I went on a 4-wheeler ride out to the Montana Creek waterfall. It was a lot of fun and tricky in places thanks to beavers' industrious lifestyles. My grandma and aunt Rachel also have a birthday in September and so a bunch of the extended family came up to the lake for a little party for them.

My uncle Dave (who also has a birthday in September) and his sons flew up from NC to enjoy a hunting trip with Dad and my brothers and my uncle Mark. They were gone for just over a week. And they did get one! Karla is so proud of her man. From the stories and laughing when they got back, it sounds like they had a great time.

Panorama

So... It's been awhile and I've got a lot of pictures to share from the past month. I'll start with this one that I have been working on for awhile. It's from the 4-wheeler trip that Matthew and I went on in July I think. I shot a panorama and finally took the time to stick them together. It's a 360.
